I picked up my client today at the Plantation Adventure Center, JT is an insurance agent who likes bass fishing up in Georgia and has never done any salt water fishing. We had a great day on the water with lots of fish caught, the tide was low first thing so we headed off shore to the shallow rock piles that pepper the coast here in Citrus county to fish for some snapper and grunts. We tried to get a grouper to bite but they were not feeding on the iow tide but the snapper and grunts were very hungry. JT was part of a large group of people in town for a company trip so we made sure everyone had food for dinner. The tide today seemed to fall forever and it was tough to get in for red fish but I located a nice school of fish in a secret spot. We only had about a half hour to fish before JT had to return to the dock to meet the rest of his group. The last cast of the day produced this nice 25 inch red fish and JT is now a salt water fanatic.
